11/21/2023 0 Comments Apple store hours mall of america![]() As waves of Covid-19 infections spread across the US, Apple announced that nearly 50 previously opened stores would temporarily close. However, as June wore on, it became clear that reopening would not be a 1-way street. Apple also significantly increased the number of stores reopening across the United States and began opening up a majority of its retail locations across the UK. This month saw Apple reopen all their retail locations in Thailand, Belgium, Spain, UAE, France, Turkey, Netherlands, & Singapore, and finish reopening locations across Japan, Italy, Canada, & Sweden. June was an incredibly busy month for Apple retail. The Mall itself is still lovely, but their app design team (or whichever higher-ups stuck their noses in when they shouldn’t have) need to get their priorities straight. This post is the fifth of a multi-entry series covering the Apple Store retail closing and reopening strategy in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. How many visitors to MOA actually return more than once a year? People don’t get rewards accounts for places they never go to!! This is corporate insanity of the highest order.ĭon’t bother installing the app, and do not give them your personal information for their rewards program. Not only did they remove all of the useful features of the app, but the only meaningful addition seems to be this rewards program, which I cannot imagine the purpose of. ![]() There is no map, no restroom directions, and the directory of stores doesn’t even load properly (tried on multiple networks - it’s an app issue, not network issue) Now, though, it’s one big advertisement for their “Insiders” program. It was, in short, exactly what you need when visiting a large tourist destination. It let you Star your favorite stores and showed them all on the map. Last year, my fiancé and I went to MOA, and the app was a lifesaver. Not sure why the store would promote to have people download an app that takes storage up on their phone if no map is included, especially for a mall of that size. I would have loved to enjoy the mall a little more, if I had access to a map. Spent 2 1/2 hours there & only made it to 2 stores that I found all by accident. I did finally find the store, but I’m sure I did a lot of unnecessary walking. The ‘L’ on that kiosk didn’t work, so I couldn’t even search for the store I was looking for. If you search for a store, it doesn’t even tell you where that store is located. It made me sign up for the rewards program(which I will never use) but no access to a map. I chose the app option as I wanted a map of the mall at my fingertips. Went to the kiosk & it says you can either tap the screen to search or download the app. I’m from out of state & was excited to visit the Mall of America for the first time.
